Payment
Low Season: Full payment will be charged to your credit card 14 days prior to arrival. A 2.5% transaction fee applies to all card payments.
Alternatively, you can make a contactless direct deposit or transfer.

Please ensure that you put your surname and date of arrival in the remittance line. Please note that all transfers must be completed prior to the due date or we will process the card we have on file.
Peak Season (school Holidays and special events): Full payment of accommodation will be taken 30 days prior to arrival. No refund for cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival.
All Bookings
- We will forward a confirmation of your booking payment within 24 hours of receipt
- A $200 valid credit card imprint and a valid driver’s license / passport (photo ID) are required upon check-in.
- Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Strict ‘No Party Policy’: Failure to comply may result in eviction and loss of payments.
- We cannot 100% guarantee any one particular apartment; however, we will certainly do our best to meet your requests. Priority will be given to direct bookings.
Room Service
Our apartments are self-catering and non-serviced. Stays for eight or more nights will have a mid-stay clean with fresh linen supplied. Should you require extra servicing of your room, an additional fee will be payable. Additional amenities and fresh towels are available from reception for a small fee. You can freshen anything yourself in your apartment laundry during your stay. A 'starter-pack' of toiletries, coffee, tea and kitchen cleaning products is provided on your arrival. Shops and supermarkets are in walking distance of the property.
Smoking Policy
Aegean Apartments is a non-smoking property. As per government regulations, smoking is banned in all enclosed areas, restaurants, licensed clubs and pubs in Queensland. A $1000 AUD fee applies for additional cleaning due to smoking.
Guest Conduct
Guests and invitees must behave responsibly. Breach of house rules may result in eviction, with charges borne by the guest. Guests are liable for any damage caused.
When a guest registers at reception, or an invitee proceeds beyond that point, they shall be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these conditions. Charges will apply for any unnecessary fire alarms from the QLD Fire and Rescue. Charges will apply for all damage caused by guests while in house.

Schoolies
Aegean Apartments do not have the policies, procedures or resources to accommodate the unique needs of school leavers during the annual Schoolies period. In particular, it does not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of guests during this time. For this reason, we reserve the right to reject bookings from school and/or university leavers for the entire Schoolies period. All guests must be over 18 years and provide photo ID and credit card or cash bond of $200 per person for security.
Room Allocation
Every effort is made to facilitate your allocation requests. Occasionally this is not possible, due to any number of restrictions including: regulatory requirements, physical booking volumes or maintenance conditions. We would appreciate your understanding that the time (in advance) of a booking has no bearing on room allocation,. All rooms have air-conditioning in the main living area, with ceiling fans throughout. we have a small amount of apartments with air-con in the bedroom. While we cannot guarantee any guest these apartments, it may be put on guest requests at time of booking.
Extra Bed / Guest
One roll-out bed per apartment may be hired for an additional guest for $30/night. Bedding and towel provided.
Portacot
A portacot may be hired for $10/night. Bedding and towel provided.
Beach Towels
The bath towels provided in the apartment must not be taken outside of the Aegean grounds. Should you require a beach towel, these may be hired for $5/towel for the duration of your stay. Purchase in advance of check-in and we'll have them waiting for you in your apartment on arrival.
Guests No Show
Guests not showing up will be charged the total price of the reservation
Guest Refunds
Refunds may take up to 30 days from the cancellation date to be processed and will be paid to the bank account provided by the guest.
Check-In Information
Check-In 2:00pm (Early check-in, if available, can be arranged by contacting reception 24 hours prior to arrival).
Check-Out: 10:00am (Late check-out, if available, can be arranged at reception for $20/hour).
Reception Hours:
10:00am – 4:00pm (Mon-Fri)
10:00am – 12:00pm (Sat, Sun, public holidays)
Should you arrive outside of office hours, we will SMS and email you the code to the safe to pick up your keys, parking allocation etc.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations may be cancelled without charge 14 days before check-in date (off-peak season) and 30 days before check-in during peak season.
